review:sandbox threads

the short version: rah rah rah!

the longer version: i got my first sandbox threads shirt (the sky colored tee with the green tree frog print - if i can figure out how to post pictures i will put one up…hey don’t i keep saying that?) and wow am i pleased…the shirt is sooooo soft, a lovely knit cotton - even the rib trim in a darker colour is soft, which is rare in a two-color tee - and the material washed well, and the colours stayed true. best of all, however, the transfer doesn’t feel like a transfer - it doesn’t feel printed on at all! this is high quality shirting for your kid. the shirts run true to size, from what i can figure on the bwg, too.

other things mommies and daddies might like to know: no more itchy annoying taggies to cut off - like the gap, sandbox threads is going to be using printed-on-the-shirt info labels - the greatest innovation since sliced bread. also, free gift wrapping (environmentally friendly gift wrapping!) that you can opt out of if you’d like. and super-fast service…my shirt arrived in days. so i’m just waiting for the next paycheck to load up with shirts for the summer! i’m hoping they’ll be able to expand into long-sleeved items and pants in that same wonderful fabric sometime soon (hint hint)… anyhow, overall : rah rah cis boom bah, skip the miniboden for your little boy and head over to sandboxthreads
