I love Sandbox Threads’ threads, as regular readers know, and now they’ve hooked me up with a whole bunch of very cool sites through Indie Coupons. The net has generally made it clear how much talent (and lack of talent) there is in the world - look at the wide range of talents in on-line writers, reporters, fashion stylists (ahem), and web designers. One thing we now has access to is lots of independent designers. And boy are the designers you can access through Indie Coupons on the “talented” end of the spectrum. Yes, there are a couple of *yawns* (look through jewelry carefully - you’ll realize that a lot of stuff is not just stuff you could have made yourself but that you have thought of yourself and decided was too boring to bother going to the bead store for), but by and large, just some fun accessories and clothing to check out.

The other thing I have to recommend is an old standby of mine; if you’ve never checked out LUSHyou absolutely must. Their soaps and body bars cater to a wide range of tastes and each and every piece is gorgeous in its own way. All of them are vegetarian (well, the body additive equivalent), most are vegan. Someone gave self and DH a lush box for a wedding present and I’ve been in love with them every since.
