cool hunting, good buntings, other things

First, as any good glamatron (up to my ears in volunteering, picking up after a toddler, and working), I’m behind on everything cool. So the whole idea of “cool hunting” didn’t enter my conscious space till last night at 2 a.m. while I was up looking up something about gliomas (don’t ask). But surfing around to find out what I could about it, I decided that I love the fashion pages at thecoolhunter.netI mean, yeah, some of this stuff is NEVER going to make it into a real life, but it’s got some great eye candy. To say the least.

And if you live in one of those cold climes (we don’t - I’m wearing a short purple cotton knit skirt (courtesy of a long-gone boutique Jerusha that I miss terribly - and a black Gap t-shirt and bare legs and zip shoes), they have some amazing kids’ buntings and snow bundling stuff available, everything from ultra fluffy to michelin man chic. I won’t say I’m envying you-all the weather, but they are really cool.

Lastly, MOMA is having an on-line sale (10% off sale items, online only) so if you’re looking for some VERY cool fashion items for holiday gifts (or for yourself), esp. shibori scarves, now is your chance….
