Apparently, outfitting Sarah Palin and family for the campaign trail has so far cost the RNC 150,000 dollars.
Putting ethics questions aside, I’ve gotta ask
1) Why outfit the littlest Palin in 200+ buck outfits if said Palin ends up sitting in the campaign vehicle with sister Bristol as babysitter? Practice?
2) Given that they’re spending so much money on Sarah herself, couldn’t they have figured out that since she’s long-legged and short waisted, you can’t just buy fitted jackets - you actually have to buy jackets that don’t ride up when she waves? I mean, she’s a political candidate - waving is half her freaking job, people.
3)If I promise to buy only organic cotton and run on some kind of scary socialist platform like parents should have access to good daycare onsite at work, think that the DNC would shell out for me? There’s this Miyake-style black suit that I’ve had my eye on for months that would look sharp on the Congressional campaign trail…
